Last Saturday, we photographed Jessica and Spencer’s beautiful outdoor wedding in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. We first met Jessica in early June and right away we were giddy with excitement. She was beautiful and sweet, had a lovely family and a gorgeous location. It was going to be a good day. The ceremony was at Millstone Point Farm and the reception was at Jessica’s grandmother’s home on Lake Winnipesaukee just down the road. Jessica grew up visiting her grandmother’s house and as her sister said during the toast, ever since they could speak, they talked about having their weddings there. Sounds a little bit like a dream come true..
We got to meet Spencer a few days before the wedding and he was just as great as we expected…certainly a stand up guy. Unfortunately, the forecast was not looking so good for Saturday and we were almost afraid to look most of the time. It all worked out fine though and aside from a brief torrential downpour shortly before the ceremony, it was a rather nice day. It is a precious little nugget of honor when two people trust you to interpret one of the most important days in their lives and we were no less than thrilled to do that for Jessica and Spencer. They’re two great people and they make a lovely couple. To put it eloquently…they da’ folks! J&S…if you read this: happy 4th day of marriage and we hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon!! Enjoy…

What blast these guys were! Here they are having some fun in between the more serious formal shots…

We flipped when we found out Jessica’s Uncle was a bagpiper, complete with Kilt, and would be leading the bridal party down the beautifully lush New England country road to the lakeside reception. He lived up to his billing!

…and on their way they went, concerning themselves with the business of living happily ever after! –K&Tay
